Solomon Yue and Kerry McQuisten attended the DOJ’s new 90‑minute documentary By Dawn’s Early Light premiered privately at the Trump Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., hosted by the James Madison Center for Free Speech on May 18, 2026. The film is produced in connection with the Trump administration’s Task Force to Eradicate Anti-Christian Bias, established by President Donald Trump’s Executive Order 14202 on February 6, 2025. Oregon's Vance Day, senior counsel for Acting U.S. AG Todd Blanche, introduced the film and members of the production team on the stage to launch the evening.

The documentary is based on a 500‑page federal report released April 30, 2026, compiled from 17 federal agencies, over 1,100 footnotes, and extensive exhibits; it highlights instances during which the Biden administration, federal agencies disproportionately targeted Christians expressing religious convictions on issues such as abortion, family, marriage, education, and conscience protections. The film presents real‑life cases where individuals faced government pressure, investigations, prosecution, or even jail time for living out their faith.

James Madison Center for Free Speech president Bruce Ash and general counsel Jim Bopp, pictured with Vance Day and Solomon Yue above, attended the event, as did a full theatre of guests including Dr. Ben Carson and Alveda King.
